Traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Pulau Perhentian

Hey there wanderlusts! Are you ready to escape the city life and head to the beautiful island of Pulau Perhentian? Great, because I’m here to share some travel tips on how to get there from Kuala Lumpur.

First things first, let’s start with transportation. You have a few options to choose from: bus, car, or plane. If you’re feeling adventurous and want to save a few bucks, you can

opt for the bus. Just head to the Puduraya Bus Terminal and grab a ticket for the express bus to Kuala Besut. From there, you can catch a boat to Pulau Perhentian.

But if you’re like me and don’t enjoy long bus rides (especially when there’s the possibility of getting stuck behind a smelly old man), then you might want to consider driving or taking a flight. If you have your own car, the drive from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Besut is about 4 hours. Just be prepared for some traffic along the way.

If you’d rather fly, you can catch a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu and then take a taxi or bus to Kuala Besut. From there, you can catch a boat to the island. Just be prepared to pay a little extra for this option.

Now that you’ve made it to Kuala Besut, it’s time to catch a boat to the island. There are several companies that offer boat transfers from the mainland to Pulau Perhentian. Just be sure to book in advance, especially during peak season.

And there you have it, folks! Those are your options for getting to Pulau Perhentian from Kuala Lumpur. Just remember to pack your sunscreen, beach towels, and a sense of adventure, and you’ll be set for an amazing trip to this beautiful island paradise. Happy travels!
